This full-time role focuses on automotive and heavy-duty mechanical tasks for municipal equipment. As a key member of the team, you will handle troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs in a dynamic work setting.

Your tasks will include carrying out safety inspections, managing hydraulic repairs, and performing welding tasks. Leadership of apprentices or junior staff may be part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide maintenance and repair services for Municipal vehicles
- Perform safety inspections and preventive maintenance
- Inspect and repair hydraulic systems on machinery
- Conduct welding tasks relevant to shop mechanics
- Keep accurate maintenance records and reports Requirements:
- Grade 12 education with relevant technical coursework
- Valid BC Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement
- Red Seal Certification in Automotive or Heavy Duty Repair
- Strong general experience in mechanical and electrical work
