Elk Valley Resources invites Electrical Engineering students to apply for their co-op starting January 2027, available for 8 or 12 months. You'll play a critical role in troubleshooting electrical systems, generating job plans, and improving project efficiency in the Elk Valley of British Columbia. This in office experience will allow you to apply your academic knowledge practically while collaborating with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support electrical projects on mining equipment
• Implement health and safety policies




• Analyze electrical system failures and suggest improvements
• Manage tasks related to preventive maintenance
• Help design small-scale engineering projects
Requirements:
• Must be working towards an Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with Power Systems a plus
• Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred
