The Ministry of Natural Resources is currently looking for Wildlife Research Technicians to assist in researching moose, wolves, and deer populations.

This role supports the planning and execution of a critical field research program while ensuring adherence to safety and administrative protocols. Candidates will work both independently and as part of a team in remote and lab settings. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute wildlife research and monitoring tasks
- Facilitate administrative support in field operations




- Capture and safely handle live wildlife as necessary
- Employ laboratory equipment for specimen processing and data gathering
- Ensure compliance with handling biological materials protocols Requirements:
- Valid class ‘G’ driver's licence necessary
- Prepared to be vaccinated for rabies annually
- Experience in live animal handling and chemical immobilization
- Proven protected operation in lab and outdoor environments
