A growing business law firm is seeking a Notary to join its transactional team. The firm advises entrepreneurs, SMEs, investors and individuals on a variety of matters involving real estate law, financing, commercial transactions and corporate matters.

The Role

As a Notary, you will work on a variety of transactional and real estate matters. You will be involved in all stages of mandates, with direct client exposure and active participation in the management and coordination of files.

Responsibilities

- Advise clients on real estate and commercial transactions
- Prepare, analyze and draft notarial deeds, agreements and transactional documents
- Conduct searches with the Land Registry, RDPRM and Enterprise Register
- Participate in financing and security matters
- Manage file follow-ups and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Handle trust funds
- Support clients in their legal and transactional matters




- Maintain direct relationships with clients
- Collaborate with lawyers and other professionals within the firm
- Participate in the growth and visibility of the practice

Ideal Profile

- Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec
- Relevant experience in notarial practice
- Experience in real estate, financing or commercial transactions (strong asset)
- Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple files autonomously
- Rigor, professionalism and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and client-service skills
- Practical and solution-oriented mindset
- Collaborative and entrepreneurial approach
- Bilingualism in French and English (asset)
