The position at Extendicare allows you to actively contribute to residents’ quality of life through carefully planned activity programs. You’ll work under the supervision to set up, evaluate, and report on individual and group activities. Communication and documentation are key components of this role, ensuring residents’ needs are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and evaluate group and individual activation programs
• Prepare the activity space and assist with transportation
• Monitor and record residents’ conditions during activities




• Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation
• Work with various teams to meet residents' goals
Requirements:
• Approved Activation/Gerontology Diploma or Degree needed
• Solid verbal and written communication skills required
• Knowledge in group and individual program planning
• Experience with cognitive impairment care
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently
