This full-time position requires expertise in battery technology, simulations, and data analysis. You'll develop cutting-edge lithium-ion battery models and perform essential studies to assess performance and safety. As part of a collaborative team, you will work to enhance battery systems for electrified vehicles while leveraging your background in engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and validate degradation models for battery packs
Conduct performance studies on quick charging and thermal events
Support pack development through scenario analysis and optimizations
Collaborate with various engineering teams on battery projects
Evaluate high-voltage battery system functionality and performance
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 2 years experience in engineering simulations
Proficiency in battery modeling tools like GT-SUITE or MATLAB
Understanding of thermal management and battery degradation
Solid analytical and report-preparation skills
