As a High Voltage Design Engineer, you will act as the Owner's representative, steering the design of high and medium voltage substations across the company's Canadian facilities. Working closely with a talented team, you will ensure that substation solutions meet industry standards while enhancing the company’s AI capabilities. This role offers the chance to innovate substation design practices while supporting a rapidly expanding infrastructure portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design HV/MV substations, including layouts and protection systems
• Review various engineering studies for project effectiveness




• Develop templates to facilitate quick design deployment
• Manage external engineering consultants for project deliveries
• Provide technical support throughout construction phases

Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Systems
• 7-10 years of substation experience required
• Expertise in delivering projects from concept to completion
• Knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
