You will engage in essential tasks involving reactor systems, structures, and mechanical equipment analysis. Candidates are required to demonstrate considerable experience in mechanical engineering, especially within nuclear industries. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze CANDU reactor systems and mechanical components
• Conduct engineering calculations for safety compliance
• Draft detailed technical documentation for client approval
• Assess design documents and engineering reports
• Model vessel and equipment using finite element methods
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s or higher)
• At least 8 years of industrial mechanical engineering experience
• Familiarity with ANSYS Mechanical, LS-DYNA software necessary
• Experience with nuclear class vessels advantageous
• Professional Engineer certification in Ontario preferred
