We are seeking dependable and caring drivers for our casual Transit Driver position. This part-time, on-call role offers a flexible schedule centered around the community's transportation needs, including daytime, evenings, and weekends for special events. Effective service is prioritized with advance bookings and effective communication with passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate the transit vehicle for scheduled trips
• Document trips and keep accurate passenger records
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after use
• Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch
Requirements:
• Valid Manitoba Class 4 driver's license (or higher)
• Clean Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract
• Experience assisting passengers with mobility aids
• Flexibility to cover various shifts
• Clear Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks
