Pay: $115-125/hr incorp

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET

Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and/or .NET 6+

Experience developing financial services risk, P&L;, analytics, reporting, or valuation platforms

Previous experience supporting a front-office trading environment or working directly with traders

Strong understanding of front-office risk and P&L; systems

Practical knowledge of financial concepts including P&L;, Greeks, risk sensitivities, delta, gamma, derivatives, options, and curve risk

Experience with SQL Server, relational databases, and data modelling

Hands-on experience building and integrating REST APIs

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience developing WPF desktop applications, trader tools, or GUI-based applications

Direct exposure to Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) or Structured Rates products

Experience with Azure or another cloud platform

Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools

Insight Global is looking for a C#/.NET Front Office Developer to support a Rates Trading desk by building and enhancing strategic applications focused on risk, P&L;, reporting, and valuation.



This individual will work closely with traders and front-office stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions that support daily trading activities and risk management.

The ideal candidate will combine strong C#/.NET development expertise with front-office business knowledge, enabling them to develop applications, APIs, and data solutions that provide traders with the tools and insights needed to make informed decisions in a quick-paced trading environment.

We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain strategic risk, P&L;, reporting, and valuation applications

Partner directly with traders and front-office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions

Develop and integrate REST APIs and supporting services

Build scalable, long-term applications aligned with strategic technology initiatives

Contribute to data modelling, database design, and application integration using SQL Server

Support and enhance tools used to monitor P&L;, Greeks, sensitivities, and curve risk

Translate trading and risk concepts into reliable technical solutions

Collaborate with global technology teams to deliver and support front-office applications

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting trading and risk platforms
