Good Shepherd is launching a new floor at the Cathedral to support unhoused men and gender-diverse individuals. As a Shelter Support Worker, you'll implement Housing First Principles in a trauma-informed manner. Your expertise in homelessness-related issues will be key in fostering a safe community and ensuring clients receive the support they require.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer emergency shelter support to clients in need
• Support clients using a person-centered approach
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients




• Manage and document a personal caseload
• Collaborate on developing individualized counseling strategies

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
• Experience with vulnerable populations is essential
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Valid CPR certification is mandatory
• Understanding of harm reduction principles is essential
