We are currently seeking qualified Electricians to join our on‑site Construction team for one-month based at a remote camp location near Fort McKay, Alberta . This position offers the opportunity to participate in the construction of the Imperial Oil (IOL) Kearl Lake Sodium Citrate Injection Process System.

The schedule is planned as a 14-day-on rotation , consisting of 12-hour workdays . While preference will be given to local candidates, fly-in/fly-out options from Edmonton, Alberta, and Calgary, Alberta may be available based on eligibility.

Hourly rate : Ranges from $32.15/hr. to $53.58/hr.

Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform all duties in a safe and productive manner according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures

Review electrical and instrumentation engineering, and construction work packages.

Review and execute scope based on Field Instruction Work Packages

Understand and execute work under LOTO requirements





Install industrial cable tray and power cables

Install process pipe heat tracing, SR or MI

Support the install of instrumentation

Install MCC Wrappers

Management of material for required scope

Communicate and work in a team environment

Ability to work with Field Engineering and Quality Control to efficiently resolve hurdles

Provide knowledge and advice on electrical and/or instrument equipment and systems.

Provide direction in establishing the electrical and instrumentation requirements and specifications for existing and new facilities.

Provide support in commissioning and start-up activities, as required, for the electrical and/or instrumentation equipment and systems in the field.

Provide ongoing support to operations.

Other duties as required

Qualifications

Apprentice up to and including Journeyperson Red Seal level

Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in electrical and/or instrumentation equipment and systems

Knowledge and experience with Heat Trace systems

Experience in an industrial setting required

Knowledge and experience with industrial construction an asset

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to clearly communicate with all levels of a project organization

Required Tickets:

Aerial Work Platform (AWP), and Fall Protection Certification

As part of the recruitment process, successful clearance of applicable pre‑employment checks is required which may include Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks as well as submittal of Provincial Driver’s Abstract. In addition, standard HSE certifications may be required including WHMIS, First Aid etc.
