Requirements:

PSW Certificate (Ontario-accredited or equivalent)

Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain)

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

CPR/First Aid and Food Safety certification (current or willing to obtain)

Community-based in-home care experience considered a definite asset

Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient need

Availability for flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Job Description:
The Rural Community Care and PSW Outreach Program with the Township of St. Joseph is currently accepting applications for casual Personal Support Worker (PSW) positions. This position requires enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate individuals to provide a range of in - home services for eligible adults to support them in remaining safely and independently in their own homes and help reduce visits to the emergency department.



The program is expanding its patient capacity and extending its catchment area to provide services between Echo B ay and Gordon Lake Road (Desbarats).

Salary Range:
$23.23-$27.35 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement for travel between patient homes. Participation in OMERS Pension Plan. Group Benefit Plan available for full-time positions.
