Join the City of Greater Sudbury as an Inventory Control Specialist in Fleet Services, responsible for ordering and managing essential vehicle parts. This role is critical for maintaining our community services.

Directly supervised by the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will utilize their expertise in inventory management and warehouse operations to optimize our stock levels. With a minimum of five years experience in similar roles, you will ensure that inventory practices meet organizational standards and align with fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source, order, and issue mechanical replacement parts
• Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness
• Monitor stock levels and manage supply discrepancies




• Conduct routine inventory checks and corrections
• Implement improvements based on inventory data

Requirements:
• Completion of High School diploma (Grade XII)
• Five years of experience in warehouse inventory control
• Forklift operation experience or license preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Valid “G” driver’s license and a clean driving record
