Overview

The Project Manager Level 1 is responsible for the successful completion of low to medium risk business process change or similar projects safely, with quality, within budget and on time by leading project teams and applying project management principles.

What you will be doing:

- Manages projects of varying size, diversity, complexity and risk and assumes responsibility for their successful completion within the Security, Business Continuity and Emergency Management portfolio.

- Has demonstrated experience managing projects related to risk management and/or projects that involve process change and people impacts.

- Develops project plans, including scope, budget, schedule and project team responsibilities in order to accomplish project objectives in the most cost effective manner using project management principles; delivers projects using accepted project and change management practices to ensure effective transition of project work into sustainment in the business.

- Demonstrates exceptional stakeholder relationship management to work to ensure project objectives align with annual work plan priorities.

- Provides continuous support to client areas and acts a business process liaison.

- Supports development business cases, prepares project reports and, at completion, submits financial and final project reports for approval.

- Reports risks associated with the project to the Security & Emergency Management Project Management Office.





- Works effectively with the companyChange Management and Communications teams to develop and deliver project change management plans, stakeholder engagement plans, training plans, and to communicate regarding projects.

What you must have:

Salary/Rate Range: $53.00 -$65.00 per hour

Term: 12-month contract; most likely to extend
