Take on the role of Field Services Welder with Weir in Lively, Ontario. This position focuses on welding, fabrication, and repair of heavy mining equipment, working directly onsite.

In this permanent, full time role, you will perform essential welding and installation tasks following rotating shifts, which may include evenings and weekends. Your contributions are vital for maintaining the operational efficiency of mining technology solutions. Additionally, you will engage in travel to customer sites, execute repairs, and ensure all welding meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and fabricate large heavy equipment components
• Execute welding tasks in various positions




• Repair damaged parts and prepare work surfaces
• Follow rotating shift schedules according to job needs
• Uphold safety standards and operational efficiency

Requirements:
• Must hold CWB Welding Certification
• 6-12 months welding experience or related education
• Able to understand technical diagrams and documents
• Excellent communication abilities
• Experience with cranes and oxy-fuel cutting is advantageous
