wellbe family wellness is looking for a warm, experienced and collaborative Registered Social Worker to join our growing mental health team at wellbe leslieville.
We are especially interested in connecting with a clinician who enjoys working with couples and families and who also has experience supporting children and teens.
This is an independent-contractor opportunity for a clinician who is looking for a long-term professional home where they can build a sustainable private practice as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Why join wellbe?
At wellbe, mental health care is part of a larger family wellness community. Our therapists work alongside chiropractors, physiotherapists, naturopathic doctors, massage therapists, acupuncturists and other healthcare practitioners, creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration and whole-family care.
You will also be supported by:
A dedicated Client Experience Team that assists with scheduling, billing and day-to-day administration
A remote-access Jane EMR
Internal and community referral opportunities
Marketing, content and practitioner-profile support
Clinical mentorship, team education and interdisciplinary rounds
Opportunities to contribute to future groups, workshops and family-focused programs
A welcoming, beautifully designed clinic in Toronto's east end community
We actively support our practitioners in building their caseloads while recognizing that a sustainable private practice develops over time. This opportunity is best suited to someone who is motivated to grow their practice, develop referral relationships and become an engaged, long-term member of the wellbe community.
You are:
A Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
Experienced in at least two of the following areas: couples therapy, family therapy, and child or adolescent mental health

Warm, approachable and able to develop genuine therapeutic relationships with clients and families
Collaborative and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
Committed to inclusive, culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
Reliable, communicative and consistent with clinical documentation and administrative responsibilities
Looking for a long-term prospect to build and grow a private practice.
You have:
A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience;
Experience providing therapy to children, teens, couples or families;
Strong assessment, treatment-planning and risk-management skills
The ability to provide both in-person and virtual care
Availability for a minimum of three consistent in-person shifts
