This part time Registered Nurse position at Extendicare requires a valid nursing license and relevant long-term care experience. You will assess resident health, implement care plans, and lead nursing staff while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Your role also includes training new team members and overseeing care during the director's absence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to residents based on established protocols
• Track and report changes in residents’ health
• Create and adjust individualized care plans as needed




• Mentor and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Prepare the facility for quality assessments including RAI MDS

Requirements:
• Active certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Preferably 2+ years of related experience
• Well-versed in MOH Regulations and LTC Act
• Experience with Point Click Care and RAI/MDS
• Robust leadership capabilities with communication skills
