As a key member of the Toronto Seniors Helpline team, you will be responsible for assessing risks and offering crisis management services. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work along with two years of relevant experience. Utilize your knowledge to support older adults and their caregivers effectively via telephone and chat services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to crisis referrals via telephone and online
• Conduct initial risk assessments using standardized tools
• Provide supportive counseling and referrals to services




• Maintain accurate records and statistical data
• Collaborate with community and healthcare teams

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registration with a regulatory body for social work
• 2 years’ experience in counseling and interventions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of services for seniors in crisis
