This permanent position is a key role that supports comprehensive accounting for the highly significant refurbishment program at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee job costing, ensure compliance with various accounting standards, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and guide full-cycle accounting operations
• Accurately prepare reconciliations for general ledger accounts
• Handle payroll and liaise with external payroll providers




• Prepare and file compliance reports and tax returns
• Develop internal controls and monitor KPIs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• At least 10 years in progressive accounting roles
• CPA designation or working towards one is preferred
• Expertise in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
• Construction accounting experience is advantageous
