Position Summary
The Program and Administrative Coordinator supports project management and coordination for organizational initiatives, special projects, programs, and events. The role plays a key part in supporting the successful delivery of select programs and initiatives across the organization, with a particular focus on Arts & Culture. Responsibilities include program coordination, participant engagement, administration, and in-person facilitation, as well as supporting new programming, community partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen engagement, accessibility, and inclusion across the Miles Nadal JCC.
All work within the organization ladders up to the strategic plan.
Schedule Information
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Some evening and weekend work is required.
This position is an in-person role and requires working on-site.
Schedule to be made in coordination with your supervisor(s).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Special Projects & Events
Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of special projects, events, and organizational initiatives.
Assist with project coordination and implementation to support organizational priorities and successful delivery.
Coordinate and communicate with external contractors, vendors,
and partners as required to support project and event needs.
Provide administrative, logistical, and in-person support for special projects and events across the organization, as needed.
Arts & Culture Programming
Assist with the coordination and delivery of Arts & Culture programs and initiatives.
Provide administrative and organizational support to assist with effective day-to-day program delivery.
Contribute to participant and customer engagement, including communication, outreach, and general program support.
Provide in-person facilitation and support for programs, special events, and departmental initiatives as needed.
Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and in person
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all aspects of the position
Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
Maintain a calm and focused approach in rapid-paced or changing environments
Abide by MNjcc Code of Conduct.
Attend staff training functions, meetings, and, on occasion, social events
Some duties and responsibilities may change or be added from time to time, provided such changes are reasonable and consistent with the nature of the role
Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
Experience in program instruction and facilitation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently.
Candidates must be able to legally work in Canada

Work may include standing, walking, and moving between spaces during programs and events, as well as assisting with basic event and program setup as required.
The position requires the ability to manage changing priorities and respond to time-sensitive needs in a busy, community-focused environment.
Salary/Benefits
Annual salary range: $46,000 to $50,000, commensurate with experience
