We offer great benefits, advancement opportunities, and steady work.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance repairsPerform preventing maintenanceTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipmentMinimize downtime due to equipment failureSupport production in addressing equipment problems during shiftHandle all mechanical problems that may ariseEnsure work area is clean at all timesRecord keeping and attention to detailAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shiftAbility to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionallyAbility to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per dayRepetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and grippingFrequent overhead workBasic Math skills: percentages, fractions,



and measurementsPosition will require Lock Out Tag Out certificationQualificationsMust have 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.Rehire rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanicalparts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
