The Operations Manager will report to the Executive Director of Indigenous Engagement and Applied Research. This position is pivotal in enhancing the functionality of the Tsi Titewaya’taró:roks Indigenous Centre, ensuring effective service delivery and operational excellence. Responsibilities include leading staff teams, administering student support programs, and nurturing Indigenous cultural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct daily operations for the Indigenous Centre
• Provide leadership and direction to Centre staff
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards
• Support student wellbeing initiatives and resource access
• Collaborate with community partners for successful programs
Requirements:
• Degree in Indigenous Studies, Social Work, or similar
• At least three years of experience in relevant environments
• Robust understanding of Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe traditions
• Proven budgeting and financial oversight skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Lead and inspire growth and connectedness among Indigenous students and communities through effective management.
