The candidate must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining a compassionate and professional approach with all clients, visitors, and staff. Answering incoming phone calls and inquiries from clients, volunteers and staff is primary to this role as is connecting clients to appropriate resources.Location:CalgaryProject Number:021389366Position Type:Seasonal Employment Full time (8 weeks)Hourly Rate:$25.00 hourlySchedule : 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:00 a.M. to 4:00 p.M.)Reporting to:Health and Wellness Coordinator/ Receptionist LeadNumber of Positions to Fil l: 1RFR#:2009MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGreet clients and visitors to The Mustard SeedTriage and book appointments for clients with programs as neededEnsure computerized appointment system is up-to-dateRespond and/or redirect all patient and visitor requests accordinglySet-up new clients into the computer systemEnsure correspondence, reports, results etc. are filed electronically in correct client recordEnsure reception and waiting areas are kept neat and tidyRe-stocking of information leaflets as appropriateAnswer phone calls in a polite and courteous manner as well as track, log, and transfer phone calls accordinglyGreet, oversee,



and monitor volunteer & guest activities within the Wellness CentreConsistently communicate with the Community Centre Staff as issues arisePerform clerical dutiesProvide crisis intervention as requiredAdvocate for guests as needed both to access resources within and outside the organizationEnsure guests accessed external resources by completing follow up with guests and agenciesSupport the interdisciplinary team through clerical management of clinical and non-clinical programsProvide input into program evaluation, as necessaryBuild a comprehensive library and knowledge base on community resourcesShare and disseminate community resource informationTrack assigned guests’ progress with external resourcesCommunicate relevant information to Caseworker about interactions with guests and observed behaviorDocument guest interactions, guest referrals and guest progress on documentation platformTrack statistics and prepare reports, as requiredAttend meetings and training, as assignedKeep guests’ records and information confidential, updated, and secureMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSAttaining a degree in Social Work or Psychology is preferredCompetent in use of MS OfficeExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent administrative,
