Contribute to research support as a Research Librarian specializing in Arts and Special Collections at the University of Ottawa. This temporary role emphasizes service and collaboration in a vibrant academic setting. The University of Ottawa Library is recruiting for a temporary Research Librarian who will focus on arts collections, starting January 4th, 2027.

In a team-based setting, you will facilitate consultations, develop educational resources and assess user needs. Your adaptability and expertise will help promote the library’s mission and strengthen its services. Key Responsibilities:

- Support research priorities through user consultations
- Design and deliver educational programs across the library
- Foster relationships with faculty and students
- Address collection gaps and needs effectively
- Engage in service assessment and improvements Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Bilingual communication in French and English
- Specialized knowledge in arts and history
