As a Sonographer, you’ll play a vital role in diagnosing and supporting treatment plans for patients across a wide range of clinical areas. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values your expertise and encourages continuous learning.

What You’ll Do

Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetrical/gynecological, vascular, pediatric, and more

Operate advanced ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging

Collaborate with Radiologists and Physicians to support accurate diagnoses

Prepare and guide patients through procedures with empathy and clarity

Support biopsies and aspiration procedures

Mentor students and new staff, contributing to a culture of learning

Participate in quality assurance, research, and continuous improvement initiatives

Work across KHSC sites and off-site locations as needed

What You Bring

Completion of a recognized Ultrasound program

Registration with CMRITO

3 years of recent experience (preferred)

Proficiency in abdominal and OB/GYN scanning; Doppler/vascular experience is an asset

Strong analytical and technical skills

Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

Clear criminal reference and vulnerable sector check
