Supervisor of International and Homestay

(Exempt – Full-time)

Located on the ancestral, unceded territory of the syilx nation, in the heart of the beautiful North Okanagan, School District No. 22 (Vernon) provides quality educational programs and a protected learning environment for the over 9,200 diverse students within its 19 schools, including more than 300 international students. 600 teachers, 420 support staff and 60 management staff work together towards the success of our students.

We have an opening for the full-time exempt position of Supervisor of International and Homestay. The successful candidate will have at least one (1) year of post‑secondary training in a relevant field, a minimum three (3) years' experience in administrative management or a supervisory role, proven experience monitoring and overseeing staff, and training or experience in budgeting or financial management.

The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of the importance of building positive relationships with homestay families, students,



agents, parents/caregivers through ongoing, effective communication.

Reporting to the District Principal of International Education, the successful candidate will help lead the day‑to‑day delivery of the program, oversee international student placements and homestay supports, coordinate administrative activities, and contribute to recruitment and marketing initiatives in Canada and abroad.
