Empower First Nations University students as a Work Integrated Learning Coordinator, dedicated to building strong community ties and providing exceptional learning exposure. Focus on supporting Indigenous learners toward career readiness.
Located in Regina, Saskatchewan, this 3-month term role is a vital part of the Student Success Services. You will guide students through the WIL process, ensuring access to meaningful placements and cultural support. Your role includes hosting workshops and fostering community spirit among participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee complete WIL process and student coaching
• Build partnerships with local employers and communities
• Lead skill development workshops for students
• Ensure integration of WIL in academic curricula
• Conduct program evaluations and report results
Requirements:
• Degree in Education, Indigenous Studies, or related area
• 3 years in career services or similar preferred
• Experience with Indigenous cultural contexts valuable
• Robust interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
