About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Network Technician to support their telecommunications infrastructure in Kimberley . This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's network, providing essential support to end-users and contributing to the overall IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and cabling.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for both wired and wireless users.
Perform routine network maintenance, including software updates and security patching.
Monitor network performance and identify potential issues before they impact users.
Assist in the implementation of new network projects and upgrades under senior guidance.




Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network-related queries.
Requirements Relevant technical qualification or certification in IT, Networking, or Telecommunications.
Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in IT network support or a similar role.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing.
