Set to last until September 2027, this full-time position aims to improve the relationship between Indigenous communities and the municipality. You will be responsible for implementing community engagement initiatives and advising on local legislation and policies related to Indigenous matters. This role is vital in promoting sustainability and cultural awareness in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engagement with Indigenous and rural community members
• Develop and manage community development initiatives
• Offer technical guidance regarding program policies




• Assist in creating culturally respectful engagement strategies
• Coordinate communication efforts for effective engagement

Requirements:
• Degree in Indigenous Law, Social Work, or similar field
• Five years working in Indigenous community contexts
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and community protocols
• Strong leadership and facilitation skills needed
• Must hold a valid Class Five Operator’s License
