Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a PowerBI Developer-(Databricks/DAX). This position involves developing and maintaining Power BI reports, transforming data, managing data pipelines, and supporting payment/money transfer platform reporting. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative financial solutions within a dynamic team setting.
Pay rate range (CAD): $50.00/hr – $55.00/hr
Responsibilities Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams to translate business requirements into Power BI reports.
Build, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Perform data transformations and data pipeline management using Databricks.
Work with SQL databases and write complex queries to support reporting needs.
Support tax calculations and financial reporting functions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout reporting processes.
Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing reports and developing new analytical solutions.
Desired Skill-Set Hands-on experience with Power BI reporting (3-5 years).
Strong SQL expertise.
Proficiency with Python and Databricks environment.
Experience with data transformation and data pipelines.
Familiarity with Unity Catalog and Databricks interface.




Knowledge of financial and payment systems such as money transfer and reconciliation reporting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have Experience with PySpark or Py-Spark.
Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
Previous exposure to electronic funds transfer or ledger systems.
Understanding of financial institutions’ reporting requirements.
Familiarity with the client’s banking environment and transaction platforms.
