Why thicker joints fail.Joint size in #cobots and #humanoids is a safety constraint before it is a mechanical one.Every millimeter of axial stack consumed by the motion components is a millimeter taken away from the safety electronics that make the robot certifiable for human-collaborative work. Push those #electronics out of the joint and you push them into external controllers - adding cabling, latency and failure modes.Up-to-date joints have to host a stack of #safety functions - safe stopping, speed and position monitoring, #torque limiting, fault detection and more. Each demands silicon,
isolation and routing that has to sit close to the motor to react fast enough to protect a human. A thicker joint forces designers to strip, relocate or compromise on that layer and compromised safety is the failure mode nobody talks about until #certification.Geometry is a safety strategy. The Litens #eAXActuator is built for this trade. A flat architecture collapses stack height without sacrificing output torque - freeing packaging volume for the safety electronics that today's standards demand.#Robotics #FunctionalSafety #Actuators #Litens #eAX
In electric vehicle thermal systems, every extra connection is a quiet liability. The fewer the joints, the fewer the leaks. The #Litens #MiniHub takes that principle to its limit, integrating fluid power management into one compact housing built for the demands of modern electrified platforms. Pumps and valves consolidated into a single unit remove the external links where leaks typically begin. Fewer failure points translate into a tougher, more dependable system across the full vehicle lifespan. A high-performance eAX pump and intelligent inlet valve module operate as one seamless unit. Streamlined internal paths cut pressure drops and lift overall efficiency. What that means for you: Stronger long-term reliability Simpler assembly and packaging Lower maintenance and warranty costs Consistent thermal performance you can count onReliability is the foundation of confident electrification. Remove the weak points and you build vehicles that deliver mile after mile.Ready to rethink thermal reliability?
