Make an impact as a Dietary Services Aide within Peel Region’s Malton Village. This part-time, onsite role contributes to food service excellence for long-term care residents.

We are looking for an empathetic individual to join our Dietary team at Malton Village. You will prepare and serve food, maintain cleanliness, and assist residents during meals, all aimed at enhancing emotional wellbeing through person-centered care. Adaptable availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare food items per the production schedule
• Sanitize and clean kitchen equipment and dining spaces
• Assist in portioning and serving meals to residents
• Maintain positive interactions with residents and staff
• Assist with menu setup and dining room decorations

Requirements:
• High School diploma necessary
• Certification in Food Service Worker program
• Willingness to obtain Food Safety Certification quickly
• Effective English communication skills required
• Passion for working with older adults in a food service role
