King Living

British Columbia

Receive it right. Store it right. Get it out the door on time.

King Living is a family-owned Australian design company that has been designing and manufacturing its own furniture since 1977. Our showrooms now span Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, the USA and Asia — and our Coquitlam warehouse is the hub of that operation in British Columbia, receiving containerized freight from our global factories and getting product out to customers and showrooms across the region.

As Warehouse Associate / Reach Truck Operator, you are central to how that works. You will receive and put away inbound freight, operate reach trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks, keep inventory accurate in our warehouse management system, and pick, stage and dispatch customer orders safely and on time. It is a hands‑on role with genuine autonomy over how your shift runs, in a clean, well‑equipped warehouse alongside a team that backs each other up.

What You Will Own
Receiving & Inbound Freight
Unload and receive containerized freight, verify shipments against purchase orders and manifests, and report shortages, discrepancies or damage promptly.

Put‑away, Picking & Staging
Put product away in the correct locations within load limits and racking requirements. Pick, pack, label, palletize and stage customer orders on time, checking each against its shipping documentation.

Inventory Accuracy
Record receipts and stock movements accurately in the warehouse management system, process returns, and support cycle counts and inventory investigations.

Equipment Operation
Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks.

Complete pre‑use inspections every shift and report defects to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Dispatch & Carrier Coordination
Confirm carriers collect the right product and that loading matches the paperwork, escalating delays or damage straight away.

Safety, Housekeeping & Team
Keep aisles, racking and workstations clean and hazard‑free, use the required protective equipment, and report incidents in line with WorkSafeBC requirements. Work closely with Showrooms, drivers and carriers, Customer Experience, Spare Parts and Service Technicians.

Who You Are
Accurate, safety‑minded and steady under pressure — the person the team trusts to get it right without being checked.
