As Building Inspector Supervisor, you will report to the Manager of Building and Planning while leading a team focused on ensuring compliance with the Ontario Building Code during residential projects. This position includes administrative duties of managing inspections and responding to community needs, including handling complex inquiries effectively. You will also liaise with various stakeholders to reinforce community standards and foster understanding of the regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the execution of building inspections and by-law enforcement




• Coordinate daily activities of the by-law services team
• Address complaints and uphold regulatory standards
• Document and report on inspection outcomes and compliance issues
• Promote public awareness of building requirements and codes

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years in building inspections or by-law enforcement
• Active Building Code Identification Number (BCIN)
• Proficiency in municipal bylaws and compliance procedures
• Valid Class G driver's license
