Become part of Memorial University's Labrador Campus team as a Building Facilities Technician in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. The role focuses on facility management and safety oversight.

This position is temporary until January 2027 and may be extended. The Technician will take on a variety of tasks, including caretaking, facility monitoring, and security management. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience and strong communication abilities are highly encouraged to apply, with preference given to CUPE members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine checks of building facilities
• Ensure proper access and security measures
• Coordinate with contractors for maintenance needs
• Remove snow and ice from outdoor areas
• Set up rooms for events and classes

Requirements:
• 1-3 years in caretaker or related work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Must present a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct
