Description
Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking a Full Time Machine Operator to join our team. The essential function of this position issafely operating the machines at the highest possible efficiency whiletracking production and scrap.

Shift:
Monday through Saturday 2:30pm to 10:30pm

Wage:
$18.15/hr

Full time permanent

Primary Responsibilities:

Report to the shift supervisor about any issues on their machine, product or department.

Monitoring how the machine is running and fixing any minor problems.

Understanding and following all safety precautions and startup/shutdown procedures.

Track all pertinent information: initial scrap, product quality, cases produced.

Complete start up and shutdown checklist daily.

Operate the machine in a way that eliminates down time and boosts efficiency.

Maintaining a clean workspace.

Understanding and following pertinent SQF regulations.

Ability to run the machine in accordance to customer specs.

Achieve daily production goals set by area supervisor.

Knowledge of customer specifications.

Education/Background Requirements:





Previous experience in production environment preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills.

Basic mechanical ability.

Must be high-performance team player and be willing to work in a energetic, growing, demanding and fastpaced environment.

Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.

Visual and audio sensory are needed regularly.

Working Conditions:

Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 48-53 degrees Fahrenheit. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
