Salary Range: CA$40.00 To CA$42.00 Hourly
Position: Industrial Mechanic Millwright – 433A - AFTERNOON SHIFT with 8% Shift Premium

Summary
The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of operations to maintain CNC machines and oversee the maintenance of the whole facility. This individual should have3+ years of CNC or comparable maintenance experience. The successful candidate will have robust mechanical troubleshooting skills, a preventative-maintenance mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with CNC machining equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, is an asset.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and service CNC Machining equipment and perform general machine repairs
Familiar with Controls such as Fanuc and Siemens controls
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance including inspections, machine geometry checks, daily oil, grease and filter checks, top ups and replacements.
Perform facility repairs and general maintenance including lights changes outdoor repairs and maintenance
Perform mechanical repairs on CNC machine tools, including spindles, ball screws, linear guides, tool changers, rotary tables, chip conveyors, pumps, and coolant systems.
Safely use maintenance tools, equipment
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance according to established PM procedures.
Work with OEM service personnel during major repairs and machine installations.
Understand the health and safety act and regulations

Reports to Maintenance Supervisor/ Manager
Manufacturing/CNC shop-floor environment.
Exposure to noise, machining coolants, oils, chips, and industrial equipment.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around machinery.
May require working at heights or in confined spaces where appropriately trained and authorized.
Fork Lift usage where appropriately trained and authorized..
Safety equipment, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
Shift work, overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins may be required
Requirements
High school diploma, completion of applicable trade school, or an equivalent related experience.
Certified Millwright required
Certificate of Apprenticeship preferred
Experience with machining as it relates to machine tool capabilities and requirements
Trouble shooting and repair capabilities in mechanical, hydraulicand electrical
