Transform lives as a Community Support Worker with Turning Points Team-oriented Society in the Okanagan. This temporary role is designed to uplift vulnerable individuals through housing and strong support services.

The Community Support Worker will lead daily program activities focusing on the Scattered Site Housing approach. You will empower clients through individual life skills training and community resource navigation. A commitment to diversity and inclusivity is critical to supporting marginalized individuals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing support for clients in securing housing
• Conduct assessments and set personal goals with clients
• Implement training for skills like cooking and budgeting




• Manage and respond to emergency client situations
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and activities

Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in human/social services or equivalent
• One year of applicable experience required
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 & Basic CPR certified
• Valid BC Driver’s License required
• Understanding of local social service agencies necessary
