The Lead Rental Technician will be responsible for the general Rental Technician role as well as to oversee the rental department, supervise rental department staff, ensure accuracy of rental process, and overall organization of the rental department. This role works closely with the repair technicians and retail staff. The Lead Rental Tech. must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients. They must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve to effectively deliver to internal and external customers.

Job Duties Oversee the rental department
Greet guests with a positive attitude and answer their questions as required.
Prepare and receive rental equipment.
Calculate bills, collect payments and make change for guests.
Cash handling and basic cash management.
Clean and tidy department areas.
Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.




Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
Present a positive and qualified image of the organization to all customers, visitors, and suppliers.
Observe and report any security issues to the Owner.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements Experience in a ski rental shop is required
Experience in a lead role is an asset
Experience in customer service
Cash handling and basic daily reconciliation is required
Detail-oriented
Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients to then offer the appropriate options, solutions, or resolutions within outlined policies
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Professional appearance and manner
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Work Conditions Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and kneeling
