Become a Child Care Educator at YMCA Northern Alberta, where you'll support children's development ages 0-12 through high-quality educational programming in a nurturing setting.

This Level 1 position will have you implementing the YMCA's curriculum to cultivate social, emotional, and cognitive skills among young children. You’ll facilitate engaging, educational activities while maintaining a safe and stimulating setting that supports each child’s potential. Regular communication with parents will help strengthen community ties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver YMCA approved programs focused on child development
• Create and lead activities that promote engagement and creativity
• Document children's progress and observations




• Uphold YMCA and Provincial Licensing safety standards
• Foster parent relationships through daily updates

Requirements:
• Experience working with children preferred
• In-progress Level 1 Child Care Certification required
• Standard First Aid & CPR – C certification needed
• Must pass Police Information Check
• Proficiency with tablets and Microsoft Office
