Intact is building an exceptional claims support team and is looking for a Forensic Engineer adept in fire and explosion analyses. In this pivotal role, you will investigate, analyze, and report on fire damage cases, ensuring all causes are thoroughly examined. You'll use your engineering skills to document evidence and may have instances requiring your expert input in court.

Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate and analyze loss scenarios related to fires
• Prepare detailed and concise reports on findings
• Work collaboratively with claims adjusters and clients




• Conduct specimen analysis for claims disputes
• Undertake additional related engineering tasks

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• 2-10 years experience in forensic engineering
• Required provincial engineering licensure or eligibility
• Strong knowledge of fire laws and building methods
• Must hold relevant certifications (CFI, CFEI, etc.)
