Position Summary
The Content Creator is responsible for creating engaging content for social media, websites and email campaigns for the company’s growing portfolio of hospitality and real estate brands. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, this position is responsible for supporting the Marketing team by collaborating on design strategy, content publishing, performance analytics and advertising. This role requires creativity,strongattention to detail and theability toconsistentlydeliver unique, original and influential content.
Position Responsibilities
Create original content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and marketing materials
Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content
Write clear, engaging copy aligned with brand voice and tone
Create content for websites, along with update and maintain websites when required.
Generateemail campaigns.
Closely work with marketing media coordinator to assist with copywriting, scheduling social posts, eblasts, and website content.
Monitor trends and recommend content ideas to keep messaging fresh
Manage paid digital ad campaigns and track analytics / performance.
Assist marketing team with design strategy and research.
Proofread all printed and digital materials including but not limited to project website and marketing material.
Utilize AI-tools to aid in content creation, scheduling, quality-control and more
Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
Education:Universitydegree in a related industry.
Experience:3-4 years of marketing/design experience.
Proficiency in the full Suite of Adobe platforms including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and more
Proficiency in using Canva
Experience in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,LinkedIn).
Ability to use performance tracking programs,including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and more
Experience in navigating website platforms (WordPress, Canva) to make simple updates and maintain performance.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro for video editing.
Photography experience wouldbe an asset.
Beginner-intermediate programming knowledge
Knowledge of print-ready practices for, brochures,posters, menus, and more.
May be required to travel to construction sites and other offices.
A solid understanding of commercial content marketing best practices (content repurposing, copyright compliance, audience journey, etc).
Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Software and analytics platforms
