Food Production Associate – Richmond Hill, ON

Fuze HR is currently recruiting Food Production Associates for a leading food manufacturing facility located in Richmond Hill. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in food production, manufacturing, or fast-paced production environments who are looking for a long-term opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent role.

Position: Food Production Associate

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Openings Available: 6 positions

Language Requirement: English

Work Environment: Cold production environment (approximately 1–4°C)

Available Shifts & Pay

Night Shift:

- 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- $18.20/hour

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process food products in a manufacturing environment
- Cut and prepare vegetables
- Assist with rice preparation and cooking processes
- Work efficiently on a production line
- Lift and move bags of food products (including rice and vegetables) onto the production line
- Follow food safety, quality, and production standards
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
- Support daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:





- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or production facility is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a cold environment (1–4°C)
- Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting food bags
- Strong attendance and reliability are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be comfortable standing for extended periods

Physical Requirements:

- Medium to heavy lifting required
- Regular handling of food products and production materials

Additional Requirements:

- CSA-approved safety shoes required
- No forklift certification required

Hiring Process:

Selected candidates will be invited to complete a short interview and site tour with the hiring manager. Candidates should be prepared to briefly introduce their experience and background during the visit.
