Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Edmonton or Calgary. This position focuses on designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for impactful water projects.
In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines to create effective mechanical designs for water treatment facilities and municipal projects. Your work will directly impact the development of sustainable solutions addressing the world's water challenges. Utilize your creativity and technical skills in a supportive environment while managing unique design requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply expertise in design development for municipal water projects
• Review and implement plumbing and mechanical codes
• Use load calculation software for system modeling
• Design effective HVAC systems with Revit
• Provide engineering support during construction phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years in HVAC and plumbing design
• Licensed engineer status in Canada required
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Understanding of NFPA standards necessary
