The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Canadian French voice contributor to record written transcripts in a transparent, natural customer service voice. You will maintain accurate pronunciation, consistent pacing, and careful attention to punctuation while producing audio for an AI model focused on spoken language.

This is entry-level contractor work, although professional voice acting experience is welcome but not required. The role requires a professional home recording environment and the ability to review and edit your own audio.

Native Canadian French speaker born and raised in Canada

What You’ll Do
You will record the provided Canadian French transcripts and adjust delivery where appropriate to reflect natural pacing. Recordings should use a neutral-to-upbeat customer service tone with clear enunciation and consistent pacing.

You will also review and edit submissions using professional recording and post-production equipment. Each completed file must meet the required technical and audio-quality standards.

Record written transcripts in Canadian French




Follow punctuation, including commas, dashes, and natural pauses
Produce WAV files in 44.1 kHz mono format
Keep silence below one second at the beginning and end of each submission
Deliver audio without audible breathing or distracting noise
Review and edit recordings using professional audio workflows

Required Skills and Recording Setup
You must be able to deliver clear, consistent spoken audio in a customer service style and demonstrate strong attention to transcript accuracy, pronunciation, punctuation, and pacing. A suitable home studio or equivalent qualified recording setup is required.

Native Canadian French fluency and familiarity with Canadian French pronunciation
Proficient English communication
Clear enunciation and a neutral-to-upbeat customer service delivery
Professional-grade microphone
Soundproofing or an equivalent controlled recording environment
Audio interface and pop filter
Editing software and professional home audio recording skills

Helpful Background
Qualified voice acting experience is helpful but not required. Experience in music, television, podcasts, Twitch streaming, comedy, YouTube, radio, or other speaking and audio-focused work may provide relevant preparation.
