About the Role Our client is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Compliance Officer to join their team in Kimberley . You will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards within the insurance sector. This involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, policies, and procedures. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with internal teams to embed a culture of compliance and manage regulatory risks effectively. This is a key role for maintaining the integrity and reputation of the organization.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with current insurance legislation and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential breaches or areas of concern.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company's operations remain compliant.
Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
Investigate potential compliance issues and manage remediation efforts.




Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required.
Requirements Proven experience as a Compliance Officer , preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
In-depth knowledge of South African insurance laws and regulations (e.g., FAIS, FICA, POPIA).
Solid analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulations clearly.
Proficiency in compliance management tools and standard office software.
Ability to work effectively within a hybrid work environment.
