This role requires ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of all databases. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrading, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related products.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Implement and manage robust backup and recovery strategies.
Ensure database security by implementing access controls and performing regular security audits.
Perform capacity planning and proactively manage database growth.




Develop and maintain documentation for database standards and procedures.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator .
Proficiency with RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Robust understanding of database backup, recovery, and high availability concepts.
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
