Registered Nurse, Occupational Health
Your goal in this position is to participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to promote workplace health, safety, and wellness for all persons who carry on work activities at North York General Hospital. You’re a great relationship builder, and foster close contacts with peers across the entire organization. You have great interpersonal skills, and effortlessly connect with physicians and staff. Your primary responsibilities include: primary care, physically assess and manage a variety of health conditions, health & illness absence management, adverse event management, disease surveillance and immunization, respond to emergency situations as well as education and teaching. This position supports the Hospital’s academic mandate by advancing care through teaching and learning and/or transforming care through research and innovation. This position contributes to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for staff, physicians, volunteers,



learners, patients and families.
