In collaboration with the Operations Supervisor, you will contribute to the daily planning of shipments and order preparation using the inventory management system. You will play a key role in coordinating operations to ensure efficient departures and adherence to priorities.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a 40-hour workweek, with mandatory weekend availability. The schedule may be arranged over four days.
Your day will look like this:
Ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly on weekends and serve as the on-site point of contact.
Coordinate and allocate work priorities based on operational volume, deadlines, and transportation needs.
Oversee and participate in the execution of preparation, verification, loading, and shipping activities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and standards.
Conduct a general oversight of building operations and intervene or elevate issues that require special attention.
Manage operational contingencies and make the necessary decisions to ensure business continuity.
Ensure the accuracy of shipped equipment and quantities using the inventory management system.
Support the Operations Supervisor with task planning and assignment based on workload, priorities, and transportation schedules.
Coordinate loading docks and ensure smooth and efficient departures.
Participate in the loading and unloading of trucks.
Maintain ongoing communication with other departments within the workshop.
Participate in the onboarding and training of new employees.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Perform other related duties as required.
Your profile:
3 to 5 years of experience in a team lead or leadership role
Previous experience working in a warehouse, factory, or workshop
Availability from Thursday to Sunday
Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is an asset
Demonstrated ability to provide inspiring and effective leadership
Valid forklift operator certification is an asset
Flexibility with work schedule
Basic English proficiency, both spoken and written, is an asset
Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
